Trinity Episcopal Church

Trinity church is on the National Historic Register and a great place to visit for a window into old Staunton.

Here in the churchyard are the oldest graves. We see that in 1830's, children died way too young. Just as today.

But there are also folks that lived long lives.

And those who have long and distinguished lives.

Around this churchyard cemetery we find, in addition to the church, a office and classroom building constructed in the same style as the much older church. Unfortunately, I could not visit inside the church to see the stained glass and architectural details. But at least this view of the auxiliary structure gives a sense of the place.
