Finding Flowers and Leaves

So. Here we are. Back from the late winter/early spring travel and no plans to go anywhere until June. This means we are pretty much stuck in the mode of exploring the local venues to see what can be found. In the moment, this means flowers.

I don't know what the white powdery coating on this green ground cover might be (fungus?) but in monochrome, it really give the leaves an interesting texture.

Other plants are showing a bit more vigor and interesting color usage on their leaves. This shrub has framed each collection of water drops with a red edge on the leaf so you can easily compare the respective collections to see who has the best.

Other flowers are just a bit shy and are really interesting in showing off for the camera.
