With the re-introduction of sunlight into our lives, mother nature is sending us mixed signals. Here we have a crocus blooming and enjoying the spring-like weather.
And here is a tree that is putting our fresh buds to take advantage of the coming season.
Yet, in the shade I can still find the remains of a light dusting of snow sporting bicycle tire tracks.
It is really curious what a short cold snap will and won't do here. Back home, in the southeastern part of the country, a cold snap like we had that produced even a little snow would stunt the growth of the spring plants and a week or more. Here, everything just takes it in stride. A week in the 20's (F), no bother!
Life continues without disturbance and the flowers bloom because it is their time.
