Orchids

Among the most colorful flowers are orchids and it common for a nursery to have a few inside even in the winter. 

The delicate shapes and subtle colors make this popular flowers. This also makes them good subjects for photos.

Of all the flowers out in the world displaying they sexy bits to the public (as they all do...that's the point after all), these seems to be among the most sensuous. And their sexy bits are very different from most other flowers.

On occasion the colors can make them appear aggressive. the one below is suggestive of a tiger or perhaps a poisonous fish of some sort.

This next one is more sedate and calmly colored. Not many flowers are brown when they are not dying.

This purple and white color makes a nice splash, however.
