While it is chilly outside, it is not really cold... mostly in the 40's. I suppose that this is the reason that we begin to see evidence of new growth coming so early in the season. This tree was full of these buds.
But these flowers are clearly leftovers from warmer days. Since I know that some of you like pink, here it is in color.
But if you are like me, the textures are more fun. So, to make all the folks like me happy, here it is in monochrome. I just find this more interesting.
I also found this tableau of epiphytes to be kinda fun.
