More Birds

The goldfinches have bad table manners and do not use their napkins. Very messy eaters.

They are also pugilistic and chase away any bird that tries to eat when they are on the feeder. Now you can see what the gold bars on the wings are used for.

So, rather than leave you with images of a avian knife fight seared into your brain, I leave you with the rather more sedate Chickadees and Juncos.

I just had to include this image of this tiny bird carrying away a seed that seems to be nearly as large as himself. Comedy or gluttony, I cannot tell, but at least his tummy is getting full.

Without the goldfinches on the feeder for a moment, the Junco can pause to digest a little between gulps of seeds.
