Amazingly, it is still possible to find a leaf with a little green in it. The combination of colors is nice. Too bad it doesn't have a few beads of water standing on it but this is not the sort of leaf that is hydrophobic.
However, this limb-end does have a little rosin on it and does produce a nice water drop. Even these conifer trees can make an interesting composition when it is possible to get the background sufficiently out of focus.
This tuft of grass was all sparkly in the sun and I couldn't resist.
And a closer look gets us well focused look at a few beads of water amid the chaos of the grass clump and ground.
And sometimes, even in death, a flower can once again put on a show. With a handful of magic globes, this dead flower head sparkles in a way that the live flower never could.
