So we decided to make a short road trip to the Skagit Valley to visit a nursery that sells great plants and has a good collection of holiday items to browse. When we arrived E noticed that there were hummingbirds finding food among the flowers. So I grabbed my iPhone and snapped a few images.
We have a limited selection of hummers in Washington, so I'm pretty sure this is a female Anna Hummingbird.
She flitted around getting a sip of nectar for a few minutes and then flew away. She was in and out the whole time we were there.
