Before jumping into the chaos that the goldfinches bring, here is a palette cleanser of our friends from yesterday.

The rusty color really perks up these birds and makes them special.

But you never get just one goldfinch. These come in groups and are quite aggressive. This time of year they also look like they've been out all night drinking.

Yet, there is that patch of bright yellow that reminds you of the spring glory yet to come.
