Stairs of Snohomish - 2

This house a small set of unassuming stairs that might be on a house anywhere in the country.

These stairs are much taller and well surrounded by trees and shrubs. this makes it important to have a light along the way.

This house is a really large one built in a converted church. This main entrance was once the entrance to the church and leads to a lot of doors for the congregants to get in and out. it isn't clear to me whether or how much this entrace might still be used by the people that live there.

Not all the houses in the little town are fancy or well-kept. This one only has stairs to the front stoop and the way there is lined with dandelions.

This is one the landmark houses in our neighborhood. There is a lady who lives alone here and is always feeding the pigeons. You can see that there is spot in the verge where she has killed the grass by constantly feeding the birds there. You'll also notice that the cat at the front door seems to have just given up. It is simply outnumbered by the flocks of the birds that come and go.

This portion of a street sits on a hill and contains a set of identical houses, probably built originally for people of modest income. I'm sure that today, the land and house costs a pretty penny.

There are a couple places that I just had to go back to color to do them justice. This gingerbread house with all its trim and decorations is quite a sight with the red stairs and gold, blue, and white doorway.

This yellow house with all the flowers our front also compelled me to give in to the color rendition.

Welcome to Snohomish. How you enjoyed our little walk about town to see entrances to our neighbor's homes.
