Textures and Colors

There is much to see in the small details. Even the blurry background adds its watercolor mood to the image.

This wet grass provides another type of texture to explore. Light and dark, smooth and rough, straight and curved, jumbled and orderly...all combinations are found here.

Add color back to the mix and we get a fund composition of contrasts with the strong vertical grass blade with water drops against a background of seemingly dry grass (it is not) at right angles to the wet one. For shots like this it is very helpful to have waterproof pants to avoid soaking the knees of your britches.
