Although it had been cold for several days, the snow storm hit us on the 26th. We got probably 5-6 inches of snow. The hydrangea bush outside our bedroom window is filled with snow and, to me, looks a bit like cotton ready to harvest.
It was very cold and we got lots of fluffy snow. It is hard to get a photo of the "fluffiness" but I can at least try.
In keeping with the season, having some white snow with the bright red berries makes a cheerful composition.
Here you get a better idea of the amount of snow we got. This fire plug on the corner near us is a good indicator.
These leaves collected the snow easily and give the impression of large spoonfuls of sugar.
