After the snow melted away, we had a few chilly mornings that left frost on the leaves and cars. With the sun out a little, I went for a walk.
All these are photos in the shade and with longer shutter times, it is hard to hand-hold the camera. As a result, these are not amazing images, but they do convey the feel of the crisp air. Next time I'll take the tripod.
The leaves are quite striking with their coating of white ice. It reminds me of confectioners sugar sprinkled on crepes.
There was a spot where the sun managed to peek through into the shade to brighten this little tableau.
