Interesting Things on a Day with Poor Lighting

I find it interesting to see plants that, even in winter dormancy, retain their dignity and symmetry. Sure this flower was quite different when in full bloom and what is left is but a shade of its former self. Nevertheless, the "bones" of the plant still carry the message of grace.

Evergreen trees don't always signal with symmetry. Sometimes, we simply find profusion. I suppose that this is enough when continuing life is the central point.

There is an open space near us with a cree that I have photographed many times. On this day I was drawn to the overall shape of the stream as it wanders through the open space. I like that the path along the left side is also visible. Nature and humans more of less getting along.

Certainly among the hardiest of plants must be the mosses and epiphytes. These just seem to continue year-round in their appoint way. In fact, they seem to really enjoy the weather and are putting out significant growth.
