Well, we had a second snow bringing us another ~5 inches about a week after the first one. It has remained her quite cold so we got another light and fluffy dusting.
The evergreens don't seem to mind the cold. Perhaps it is warmer wrapped in snow than just sitting in the cold air and rain.
I enjoy all the colors and the the snow brings out. The green tree needles, the red limbs, and yellow seed pods all contrast nicely with the snow.
This row of fence posts had a nice set of pyramidal hats of snow. Soldiers all standing in a row, ready for action.
There was a wee dab of sun poking through the clouds to give the scene a tiny lift. Mostly it just looks cold.
