Shopping in Snohomish

It has been over a year since E and I wandered downtown to do a bit of window shopping. Many places have changed; most have not.

The Oxford, for example, is still a burger and brew joint and pretty good burgers. Really, pizza and burgers are nearly all we have for food in this town. However, we do not have a pretty good Thai restaurant now.

The antique/junk stores that line our street are still mostly here and in business. A few have gone and the storefronts have been or are being remodeled. Another one has changed owners. Yet, the song remains the same.

One of the more upscale interior decorating stores carries a line of lamps with very filamented bulbs to give the contraptions a bit of the steampunk look.

I can't tell if this is meant to resemble a vacuum tube radio or just a weird light box of lights.

This next one with its really clean glass, produces some interesting reflections.

This one might be pretending to be a lantern but it is hard to tell what it is other than just funky.
