Another Visit to Ediz Hook

Another visit to Ediz Hook in Port Angeles on a day with almost sunshine. I made a point to catch the sun's reflection in the puddle so you'd be convinced that it really was out.

There were no seals out enjoying this vast amount of sunshine today. Moreover, the harbor is pretty quite. Must be the holiday lull.

Looking out across the strait, we find a small piece of a rainbow lurking near the horizon.

And here's a view without the driftwood poking up in the way. It takes some post processing effort to get see a rainbow. At least the sky in that direction is dark.

As usual, the Olympic mountains are heavily shouded.

Yet, there was some activity in the strait. A few large ships were coming through. This gull agreed to help me frame an image of the passing ship.

And I managed to convince the owner of the sailboat to help me set of this composition. Such power I have over man and beast!
