We've now made several visits to the shores of Hood Canal. On this trip, we stopped by Leland Lake boat ramp to have a look about. What we found was this delightful little lake on a sunny, calm day. What's not to like about a huge mirror reflecting this sky and trees?
To the west lie the Olympic mountains (at least some of the smaller ones) and still hanging in the sky are low clouds.
This looks like perfectly wonderful place to build a home. Quite. Clean. there's fish in there as attested to by the trucks and empty trailers at the boat ramp.
Feels like an idyllic mountain lake. Were it a few degrees warmer, we'd still be there.
