Dungeness Wildlife Reserve - II

 

In the image above, we are looking west along the coast toward Port Angeles. You can see some of the buildings at the port on the right hand side.

As you can see, people are still walking away from the mainland (where we are) and the shadow cast by the higher land is making a shadow pretty far out.

Here's a closer view of Port Angeles. The paper mill on the right is about 12 and a half miles away.

We did see a few birds in this small backwater near the shore but they are so far away there is no way to tell much about them.
