More Fall Colors

Berries abound if you know where to find them. This bush seems to be already decked out for the holiday season. But, alas, this beauty will not last nearly so long. Thus, I capture it now for enjoyment year-round.

Finding a multicolored leaf backlit by the sun was a stroke of luck. I love the luminescent look of this well chewed leaf. It is a reminder of the many purposes of these plants, both selfish and altruistic.

This dahlia was blooming hard by the front fence that you can see just to the left in the image. Even though she is past here glory, there is still a dignity there to attract the eye.
