As time creeps on in its petty pace, we see more and more the colors of autumn. This leaf has #blogwn off a nearby tree and landed in a bed of greenery. Not only if the contrast nice but the spider finds it to be a good parade ground.
As Usual, some flowers just seem to work better in monochrome. This one is a very bright yellow, but in the bright afternoon sun, the textures and shadows work much better in B&W.
Some plants completely change their appearance with the change of colors. These once green leaves are now an attractive shade of scarlet to adorne the season with some cheerfulness and bling. In the bright sun the red is enhanced to give a balance with the greens of the background.
There are even berries to be had if this is your sort of thing (and if these are not poisonous...I don't know). I like the contrast of the pinkish-red leaves with the orange berries. In fact, I find it a little jarring and unexpected.
