Downtown

It seems that we are quickly running out of days with an abundance of sunshine. The rainy seasons is almost upon us. So I make walks about as much as I can knowing that soon I'll just be trapped inside (or walking in the rain).

If you look carefully, it is possible to find all sorts of signs on buildings hereabouts. This one is on the old theater/opera house on the east end of 1st street (it is now an antique/junk store).

Also outside this (poorly maintained) historic building is an old tire that is slowing fading away as entropy gnaws away.

But there are stores with modern things for sale.

Even stores with a meta purpose: selling signs that sell beer.

There is one public water fountain on 1st street that I have photographed many times and finally, I may have found an angle that sort of works for this local landmark.

On the western end of 1st street is the local instance of the American Legion.
