Woodlawn Cemetery, Snohomish

Out west of Snohomish, along the river is Woodlawn Cemetery. I've been here before and this time I'll be covering a couple of the same graves, but mostly this is new stuff.

While this is not a place to find lots of cemetery art, there are interesting gravestones to be seen. This one has a woman with a peaceful expression on her face keeping watch over the deceased.

The older markers are more traditional and plain.

Once again we find stones engraved with scenes of the northwest mountains and lakes.

This engraving is likely less connected to the northwest than to the kind of freedom suggested by the quote selected.

This one you've seen before but now you have the added bonus of having me reflected in the polished stone. I still don't know what city is represented in the engraving.

This is also a repeat but now the crockery boots are moved to a new location.
