Evergreen Cemetery and Mortuary

I took a trip to Everett to visit the Evergreen Cemetery and Mortuary. I'm guessing that Evergreen is a chain of cemeteries around here since we see that name is so many places.

Now, on the shank end of summer here, we see brown grass and blooming weeds everywhere.

This cemetery, while not exceptional, does contain interesting gravestones. Agnes died at a young age nearly a century ago. I do not know if the lamb symbolizes her name or her tender age, or both.

I wonder if these Todd's are related to the wife of Abraham Lincoln?

Markers for those who fought in the Spanish American War are common here. But, fortunately, this fellow does in old age in 1949. Good on ya.

James and Hope Thompson have chosen an urn for their memorial. I have no idea what this might mean.

Henry and Julia have a simple but elegant stone with a patina of green. It always seems that the life and death (or at least non-life) struggle continues on after the main act is closed.
