Trying Desperately to find Not Flowers to Photograph

Yes, Virginia, we have squirrels. There are also birds, but they are few and far between. We do see an occasional Stellar's Jay and Anna's Hummingbirds can also be found (year round!). But there few song birds. Mostly what we see and hear are Crows/Ravens.

Some of our neighbors are somewhat more interesting. This person has a well decorated set of windows in the van parked on the street. Someone threw eggs at our car the other night. I'll be no one eggs this van. Maybe I should get some of these decals.

This house have a quite ornate vent on the front of the house, peering out as if it were a third eye. It is both pretty and disturbing all at once.

In another yard that was well supplied with bric-a-brac and yard "decorations", I found these statues of Laurel and Hardy for your enjoyment. I'm really not sure why someone would put these in their yard, but there you have it.

We do have out share of fences in town. While this one is nothing special, it does have a certain rhythm as it seems to march along the sidewalk.
