Second Beach

This is what much of the forest trail looks like...lots of trees in various stages between life and death.
This image in interesting but not because it is amazing or anything. I asked Seamus to help me find something to photograph. He suggested this fern. I asked why he picked it and he said he liked ferns. Fair enough. I then asked why this one and not the one a few feet farther along the trail. He replied that this one had better fronds and he liked that part the best. He's learning to see images and have a reason for why he likes things. All good. One day he may choose to be a photographer. Probably one that is much better than me.

On the beach, we find more sea stacks and strangely carves rock formations.

The longs exposure here brings a serenity to the scene.

Here we have the contrast of the apparently calm ocean and the evidence in the rocks that it is seldom actually like this.
