On First Beach at La Push

Naturally, since this is a beach in the state of Washington, it is covered in (at least partially) with stones and lots of logs that have washed up in the many storms this area is known for.

Some of these logs are quite interesting. Not your prize winning images, but worth a quick look.

I suppose that I'm fascinated with the things that the ravages of seawater can do to wood over time.

There were more people than this image suggests out enjoying the lovely weather on the beach, but it was still a pretty empty place. I can't image why people aren't flocking here to spend the summer.

Two of those enjoying the sand and sea along the shore are Seamus and charlie, seen here posing on one of the driftwood logs.
