A Few More Buildings about Town

Here we see city hall for Baker City. A fine imposing structure with a dominant clock tower.

Not far away is the old post office. I know this because if you look closely just above the front door it says "Old Post Office". The nice modern on is just a few blocks away.

This is the Geiser Grand Hotel. It is a really nice place. I'd show you more photos but I was not allowed inside due to covid rules (only paying customers allowed in). But the lobby is really nice (not allowed to photograph there either!) with lots of dark, shiny wood in the imposing desk and cabinetry behind it.

The Baker City High School seems to have had a competition at some point and the students with the best art got it put on this wall.

In the distance you can see the Elkhorn mountains. Just a sleepy little town, made to seem even more inert by the covid restrictions. But it is a pretty place with some really grand buildings.
