Continuing where we left off yesterday, we see our friend out strutting her stuff, showing out her top knot, her new colors, and her new layer of slender feathers on his back.
This one doesn't seem to have a top knot. Rather he has a what seems to be a back comb over with two sprigs sticking out in the back. But from the front, the breeding differences are quite dramatic. The fine feathers hanging and swaying in the breeze and the heightened colors offer a striking visage,
Finally, we see why some have a top knot and some don't. I believe that the one with the topknot is female and the larger one with the comb back is the male.
Whichever way the dimorphism falls, there are handsome birds.
