And so here he is in all his mating splendor. These really are fine looking birds.
Though I certainly admit that when the wind is blowing, that little bit of feathers in the back blowing to one side does give a bit of a goofy look. This is, however, completely outshone by the beauty fo the plumage in the front.
This fellow is out by the water. Perhaps he feels his changes of landing a mate is better here.
That longing look over the a gentle rise and the water beyond. Perhaps Heathcliff is coming?
Waiting for the mating. That's what this is.
