There are Colors to Be Found Outside

If you walk the streets often enough you begin to notice that there are sources of color to be seen. For reasons that I do not know, this plant shows her scarlet underclothes once the bright greens of summer fade.

This evergreen appears to be so many segmented green creatures being attacked by a marauding red leaf.

The metal bridge over the Pilchuck is showing its reaction to the winter rain and freezing water.

But sometimes, these found objects and plants look best when rendered in black and white. This hydrangea's flowers has lasted so long that the mould is setting in and giving everything a texture that it never had in the summer.
