Since you saw these sorts of trees in B&W yesterday, I thought I show a few scenes in color so you could see what they really look like. It is hard to imagine how much rain it must take to produce this much fluff on trees.
However, I can give you an idea of how much rain we were getting that day by having a look at the water-soaked grasses nearby.
There trees really are something in B&W. Almost like a neon sign on Broadway.
The trees everywhere we went were like this. this view up a river near one of the covered bridges shows that these were also well cloaked. They make a nice addition to the riparian scene.
The larger parts of the trees are similarly well covered in epiphytes. It is clear now why the wooden bridges are all covered in this place.
