More Wet Plants Up Close

Some green leaves with water drops is always a good way to start the day. These sorts of leaves are good for this since they are pretty hydrophobic on top and we get good beads of water.

Other plants are friendlier with water and the water beads are smaller and, hence, less noticable. Yet, the combination of colors is pleasing in this image.

This flower, with all its multi-layered blossoms on the stalk, reminds me a victorian lady in all her petticoats and layers caught in an afternoon rain.

The clematis blossom is not much affected by the addition of water. It just mostly looks wet, at least in this light.
