Between Rain Showers

As the spring flowers fade and the summer flower begin to bloom, I'm trying to diversify the portfolio of flowers you see here. Today, in between showers, I found a few images in the front yard.

Above is the Lupine growing out by the sidewalk in front of the house.

There is also Catmint growing there. It is already quite large. I though the purple catmint with some blurry yellow flowers in the background would make a nicce combination.

There is also a meal fence in the yard that sections off the front gate and the portion directly in front of the house from the rest of the side yard. This is to keep the dog from lunging at the fence when someone walks past, harassing the delivery person, or tripping me or E. Along this fence are a series of Clematis vines planted. One of these is already blooming. Quite nice, eh?
