Along the Stillaguamish
Although there were a fair number of people out along the Mt. Loop Road who had parked their cars to go hiking into the forest, it was possible to find places to stop and get out for a few minutes to enjoy the river.
One of the things I find interesting about the rocks in the river is how white they are. Usually, river rocks are some sort of dark or neutral color. These are remarkably light in color and make a striking contrast with the dark soil on the shore and the darker water and vegetation.
