So. We've reached the time of year to express our thanks. Thankfully, we actually have something to be thankful for. So far, we here on our little speck of the world are healthy and thriving. That's a big deal in these days of virus.
And like most people in the country, we are very thankful that the White House is changing residents. This holds the promise that there may not be quite so many of us gone unnecessarily by this time next year. And that really will be something ot be thankful for.
Our hopes for the coming year are modest. We hope that fewer people will side with the virus in this world war and join our side in this battle. We hope that Biden gets a Senate that will help him actually get some things done. And we hope that all our friends stay safe.
