Colors and Shapes

Along the route that I run in the morning (a section of the Centennial Trail), there are some evergreen bushes with late season flowers.

A nearby evergreen is putting out new seeds in cones.

To prove that I do occasionally look up, here's a photo of the sky looking southwest over the top of the senior center near the trail. As you see, it is one of these PNW sunny days: cloudy but no rain.

With just a dash of yellow to make it interesting, these red leaves are decked out for the season.

And other, man made places are the home of other life. Red, green or otherwise, life abounds in the temperate rainforest even in places that weren't designed (by man) to harbor life.
