Down to the Pilchuck River

Getting out while the getting is good and there is still remains so sunshine, I took a longer walk toward the Pilchuck river.

Having shown you all the leaf color combinations I can think of, here are some variations on the theme.

Here's a nice bright yellow leaf boldly showing off against a dark background. 

This is a long exposure of the Pilchuck that I wanted to show the motion of the water. There are small bubbles in the water that I could see sweeping past and swirling but there were just too small to seen in this composite of 5 or 6 images (I had no tripod or ND filter, so I stacked multiple images to get a long exposure).
