Springtime Flowers

Some bushes flower a bit later than others and this one above is just now opening its treasures for the world to see.

I brought you a photo of one stem of these flowers yesterday, but today you get to see the "sea" of stems I referred to.

This flowers are all droopy and form small umbrella-like blossoms. By kneeling, I'm able to get low enough for you see what the snails see when they look up.

As they mature, the purple get more pronounced and the green fades a bit making these quite interesting flowers to add to the garden. Unfortunately, i have no idea what these are called.
