After 4 ½ months of shooting plants, there is little I can show you from our neighborhood that you haven't seen a couple times on this blog already. But do not despair, nothing last forever and neither will this seemingly endless cavalcade of plant-y bits.
As many of you know, June starts our travel season this year. Mine journeys start a little sooner than Elizabeth's with a photo trip to Nome, Alaska. Assuming that the Alaska Airlines can find enough pilots to avoid cancelling my flight, I leave on the 5th.
But next up after that (and in quick succession) is our trip to Budapest. We loved it there in '19 so much and struck up a friendship with our house sitting hosts. As a result, they've invited us back for about a month.
After we leave Budapest, we have some interesting stops (more on this later) in the Czech Republic on our way to Prague where we catch a flight to London. We spend a week on the south coast of England in a seaside resort area called St. Leonards-on-Sea before heading home.
