With spring we not only get flowers galore, we get glorious sunshine much more frequently. This, in turn, begins to make life bearable after a winter of leaden skies and buckets of rain.
Of course, the bright flowers perk up the place considerably as well. But without the sun, all would be a drab existence.
With the blossoms also come the insects. For reasons I don't fully understand, this fly is investigating a tulip. Something much taste good.
We seem to have a bumper crop of dandelions this year. I thought this image captured the new and the old quite nicely.
