Worcester Cathedral - III

The cloister garden is a very pleasant place to meditate. I suppose that was the original purpose, after all. It is also a dandy place to see the tower and structure of the building.

Inside, the detail in the carving of the pulpit is quite remarkable.

As is the case with such things, each panel tells a story from the bible.

Here is a screen that separates the choir from the apse and creates a small (relatively speaking) space for worship.

I do not remember who these two are but their effigies are pretty amazing. However, the way their feet seem to be stretching to land on the foot supports makes me tired. Imagine doing that for all eternity!
