After leaving the Dunbar area, we headed south towards our next house sit and this took us through the Lake District. Naturally, we had to spend a few days to see what this as all about.
We stayed in a small B& just south of Coniston on the A593 and even here beside the road, there were pleasant vistas to be seen.
There are of course sheep and cows everywhere enjoying the afternoon sun while they have a snack.
The green and forested hills give it a very inviting feel.
