Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum

Just to let you know that we do still visit the US once in a while, here are some photos from our recent stop at home. We visited the Chihuly glass museum again at the Seattle Center to see what was going on. Some things were the same and some were different. You can see our previous visit back in 2019 here.

The initial theme we found was the sea. There were octopi, as above, and sea shell-like things hung on a piece evocative of some sort of natural, living creature.

Then came the plant-like forms. Although to be sure, there were many no-plant-like shapes in there as well.

The bright colors and the reflection of the glass in the black glass floor made for a fun and interesting display.

As you can see, the glass "snakes" are somehow fastened directly to the floor. Must have been quite an undertaking to get this all assembled. I'll bet dusting the place is a real nightmare.

Other places there are lots of balls. of interesting colors.
