Chihuly Museum at the Seattle Center
Today we visited the Chihuly Museum at the Seattle Center with our good friends, Bill and Linda Ingham. The well lit glass sculptures in the darkened rooms make for good (and easy) photography. all images today are taken with my iPhone.
Some of what Dale Chihuly created sit on the floor (or something) like the objects in the image above. And some are giant chandeliers such as in the image below.
And others just define description.
This had a description but is still curious with glass sculptures sitting in a boat.
This sculpture has both a stalagmite and a stalactite.
And this blue one simply hangs from the ceiling.
These large freeform bowls are lit from above and make interesting lights in the dark.
Amazing and beautiful glass from a talented man.
