There is a small church in the small town of El Triumfo, Our Lady of Guadalupe.
It follows a simple plan and presents a basic functional worship space.
The icons and drawings are neither complicated nor ostentatious.
The altar is a a colorful place with Our Lady in the center.
The interior is dark, mostly lit from the front door and a few small windows. Also, as a result, it was more than a little warm and still. After taking a few photos, we headed back outside to catch a breath of even warmer, but fresher air.
