Driving Over the Mountain

To get from the La Paz to the beach on the road we chose required driving over the mountains. This provided us with an impressive show in the sky with the clouds taking on beautiful shapes.



Off the coast in the Pacific, west of us, is Hurricane John. This weather is the result of the edge of the clouds reaching us.ed

Once we crested the mountains, we were greeted with an expansive view of a green valley. An unexpected finding here.

In fact, the valley was being treated to a summer storm, providing much needed water.

As you can see, the road straight down the mountain and aff across the valley. The storm moves away and we avoid it.
