Along the Malecon
The world of house sitting is an interesting one. A house sitter we "met" online a few years ago, Deborah, we've now met in real live while she is also house sitting in La Paz. We've enjoyed several outings together including a nice dinner at an Italian restaurant. After our meal, we had a pleasant walk along the Malecon and participated in a Friday evening perambulation by the sea.
Traffic was backed up and the sidewalks were busy.
The street market was busy with shoppers and lookers. Here we see another of La Paz's many murals.
Along with ices and ice creams for sale, people are also haggling for jewelry.
The reflections in the store window give the impression that this sun-face is blowing bits of happiness our way.
And by the water is the old man, staring out to see, keeping watch.
