Jardin Velasco
A common resident of the parks in La Paz are the White Winged Doves. This one we found Jardin Velasco.
This park is nicely decorated even if some of the decorations have fallen on hard times.
Interestingly, out on the street, we find a cactus and a palm tree growing side by side.
But the highpoint of the visit to the park is watching the local ladies engaged in their knitting, sewing and chatting.
This is clearly a regular event here and these women are enjoying themselves. We enjoyed them as well.
