Rumbach Street Synagogue Continued

The colors and designs here are captivating. I find the mixture of blues and reds in the geometric pattern on the walls to be quite striking. they really draw the eye to the details.

In one section of the building is the small structure. I suppose it might have been intended to house the Torah but I really have no idea why it is here.

So many delicate details in the wall paper/painting and the ceiling.

Like so many other buildings we've visited in Budapest, this one also has its share of gold decorations.

The balcony, I believe once intended as place for the women to sit during worship now displays a series of posters to describe a bit of the history of the place.
